Weekend Show :: A Little Too Late

You've heard of the Mad Hatter?
How about the Mad Crafter?
By far...the best way to describe myself last week.
In addition to my regular homeschool duties
I had to prepare for an up-coming
Holiday Open House
in Downtown Sylvania.
When I wasn't sewing, felting, stitching,
assembling, re-purposing, candle-making,
designing, quilting, stuffing,
packaging, and pricing...
I was making dinner!
Phew!
Now one would think that a woman
with a blog would take
many...many pictures of the process and
the finished products to share...
AND said woman would definitely
advertise the event to all her
loyal visitors.
Oops!
I knew there was something I neglected to do.
So, with a heartfelt apology
and a promise to keep
you better informed...next time...
here are but a few of the goofy pictures I did
manage to get.
A mock set-up in my Family Room.
See...my intention was to
take before and after
pictures.
Now that would have been something to see.

Instead...

before shots only...and not

very good ones at that!

I acquired "stuff" from the attic and basement...

even the garage...

that I thought might work.

I'm happy to report I didn't need to purchase

anything extra for props.

I did the old-fashioned, always reliable...

make do with what you have! After all...I wanted the items I made

to steal the show.

There were Tin Can Candles

(see previous post)

and candle tarts in Holiday fragrances...

Felted, original, one-of-a-kind

woolen pieces...

Texting Gloves, Tassel Hats, Scrappy Scarves,

Stadium Mittens, Leg Warmers,

Flowered Headbands,

Ornaments, Christmas Stockings

(large and small)

Coffee Sleeves, Winter Pillows...

And of course my "regular" merchandise...

Yoga Mat Carriers, Altered Clothing, Zafu's, Zabutons...

This set is specially priced

for the holidays.

As always...with repurposed parts...

The Futon is constructed from

old blankets and towels and thick fabrics...

quilted together to form a firm foundation.

Finally, the repurposed denim

cover is constructed

with discarded upholstery scraps

for a beautiful and sturdy finished product.

An Old Maid New

one-of-a-kind original handled design.

The flip side offers complimentary

colors and patterns to

complete the set.
Although I got the news to you

a little too late...

(so very sorry)

rest assured...all is still available at

Harmony In Life.

Thank you for understanding and

for stopping by today.

Won't you join me in

taking time to breathe.
