Don'tcha
just love it

when Spring cleaning

commences

and

you see things like 

along the side of the road...

just begging you

to stop

and stuff it into the

trunk of your Jetta...

with your sister

sitting next to you with

words of encouragement

(and a bit of envy)

at tripping upon it

on this little trip

knowing 

it earned its

chipped paint look

that others can only try 

to imitate

with long arduous

hours

of painting 

scraping

waxing

all while this little darlin

stood by

doing its job 

as a nightstand

a catch-all

a possible end table

before landing a spot

at the road

where a passerby

could 

see

appreciate

fall a little in love

right down to the wallpapered

drawer

that only needs a little bath

and is good to go

another round as

a nightstand

catch-all

end table?

Once again

lending proof to the axiom

"One woman's junk is another woman's treasure!"
