Keith Urban :: Mud Hens :: Birthdays

What do they all have in common?
FUN!
Friday Night...beautiful summer's night...
decided to head downtown
on the bike...
To sing along with
Keith Urban!
(Thanks Tina & Doug!)
Opening Act:
Jake Owen...
who really warmed-up the capacity crowd.
A great view from our suite...
laa-dee-daa.
(Thanks Tina & Doug!)
He closed his show
while the audience begged for more...
always leave 'em wanting more!
Brief intermission...
took a quick pic of our group
who we only just met...
lovin the cowboy hats and short-shorts
with cowboy boots.
Everyone is a cowboy at a country concert.
Waiting with my baby. For the sounds of Keith Urban. They promo-ed it as a chick concert... but I noticed the guys were having just as much fun. I mentioned the short-shorts...right? I tried to capture this scene... where the floor was filled with flashing cameras...from my angle it looked like a sea of black filled with hundreds of twinkling lightning bugs! Keith... yeah, we're on a first name basis now... stood on a stage near the center of the arena and spun for the crowd. This man can play a wicked guitar! Here's his (other) better side! Singing his heart out.
With his glow-in-the-dark guitar.
Encore!
Me and my baby...
we took the long way home.
Stopped for a bite to eat at IHOP...
Steak Omelet to share.
Yummy.
Saturday.
Four Tickets To The Mud Hens...
fell in our lap...
(Thanks Tina & Doug!)
Took the gang to the ball game!
Sitting with my favorite people
in the whole wide world!
And Muddy joined us...
he knows fun people when he sees them!
Another perfect night...
with a beautiful view of the field.
And the Mud Hens Won!
Bottom of the 11th...
Bases Loaded...
3/2 pitch.
It doesn't get any better than that.
A reason to celebrate in style!
(Thanks Tina & Doug!)
Sunday Night...
a family cook-out
to celebrate Joshua's
90th Birthday.
Actually, all the candles
(more on the other side)
added together
for a grand total of 25!
Only in the Ondrus house.
All in all...
a great way to spend
my final weekend as a forty-something!
(Thanks Tina & Doug!)
