shop talk

The aqua blue laundry basket
means one thing.

I am heading to
Harmony in Life
to sell my wares...

Old Maid New style!

Let's take a look at what's new...

More candles in yummy
fragrances.
It always makes me giggle a little inside
when people sniff
candles and then say something like...
"Mmm...I love that orange flavor."

Well...
the "flavors" on tap for
Spring/Summer are...
 California Orange,
Simply Kiwi, Woodstock '69,
and Ginger Blossom...
with more on the way.

Hand-poured into old tin cans
right out of my recycling bin...
and now with a dust cover
that also came from the bin.

Guess what you do with the whole
kit and kaboodle
when the soy candle has
burned its last?
You put it in your recycling bin...
how easy is that?

What else is in that basket?

A couple of crocheted cotton beanies...
for that hat wearing gal...
on days when it's best
just to cover it up...
OR
just for fun because they're so
darn cute...
OR
to keep your hair out of the
way during a yoga practice...
OR...
you get the picture...
anytime you feel like it.

Digging deeper...

Yoga Toes were very popular.
The shop asked for more...please.
I just so happened to
give that design another look...
an exclusively yoga look...

for the yogi who
has claimed a pose as their own...
with yoga toes positioned
correctly...
in Warrior II.

with toes spread wide
as you find your
balance
in Tree, Eagle, Half Moon...

Balance is the key!

Striving to give each t-shirt
a one-of-a-kind
Old Maid New
look!

A simple vine trails
from the shoulder...
so pretty.

with a subtle
detail
at the back, bottom-left hip...
be still.

In a yoga pose or in our
fast-paced world...
always
take time to be still...
and to know.

Thanks for stopping by.
So...
what's new in your basket?

  1. I LOVE today's shirts! Warrior is simply genius! And of course, Be Still...how perfect? I often make that my mantra during yoga. Great job...one of each, please! :)
